Taper: name upon request
Transfer: ca. 1991 master reel converted to DAT

In 2005, the person who transferred the master reel to DAT loaned his original DAT to another collector, who cloned my copy. This source is an excellent stereo audience recording, although incomplete. It was used for the "Tales of Storms" cd set and is one of several sources for this date. The information on what microphones and tape deck were used to produce this recording is lost to time and the taper can not currently be located.

Master Reel > DAT(tranferrer's) > DAT(mine) > PC > CDWave > FLAC

-transferred to PC digitally using Coresound 7-pin cable
-M-Audio S/PDIF soundcard input recorded in Sony Vegas Video
-sample rate changed from 48kHz to 44.1kHz with Wavelab for cd audio
-sequence of Moby Dick and What Is restored to original order
-no other changes and no editing of any kind
