Comments [bedoc]
Show :
I came to this show with my mother, and decided to tape anyway (I can’t come to a show without taping !). I only knew Joan Baez from her seventies’ hits, but
I enjoyed very well the show, with songs that I discovered. I have been a but surprised by the cover of “Manhattan-kaboul”, but Joan did it perfectly , and
in French ! The crowd was ver receptive, and seems to be happy of the show.

Sound :
I don’t like these king of show, very acoustic. Because crowd noise is always prominent, and with normalisation, the show sounds very low (I’m not a sound
engineering, so I did not do anything else to this recording) . Crowd next to me was very loud, especially 3 people behind me : lots of claps, screams,
talks... Motsly between songs and during “encores”, but it is very annoying at times. Overall, the sound is quite very good. “Palais des Congrès" is not a
place for shows, to much echo and to much distance fromh the speakers. The voice and instruments come through pretty good and clear, and the sound is listenable.
