The first 40 seconds are of poor quality (like the tape not rolling correctly). It is on my copy, too.

Unfortunately the last three songs (Out Of Control, Stand By Me and 40) were not recorded. The taper enjoyed the concert so much that she did not care about the recording and for this reason two songs were incomplete, too because the 100 minute tape ran out before being turned.

I forgot this first generation tape through the years (or better: decades) and was amazed that I found it while looking through my collection and did not expect it at all. It is just like meeting an old friend again.

What I heard amazed me even more: Though the recording is not complete the performance and the versions of the songs are stunning.

I haven't heard the beginning with "Bullet-Streets" anywhere else but it works! A MUST is the link between "All I Want Is You" and "Bad", too. Those two songs flew perfectly into each other like they were only one song instead of two!

Unfortunately this is the last recording of the Melbourne shows from this taper because the taper was not able to attend the remaining shows on October 13th, 14th and 16th.

Transfer and upload in August 2011.
