Comments: Very nice recording from early in the "Zoo TV" tour. This one perhaps takes on additional emotional significance because the band had just completed recording of the album in Germany; in any case, this is a very spirited performance and somewhat of an unusual setlist for this point in the tour. The band is clearly "on" in this show; there are more lyrical "tags" in this show than most, it seems to me (i.e. Can't Help Falling In Love, Dancing Queen, etc.). Bono is in a great mood.

The recording is really nice; just enough crowd noise to capture the spirit of the boisterious German audience without interfering with the music. I did very little to the recording - just increased the +6 db bandwidth slightly to offset limitations of the taper's equipment. It's a very listenable recording, really nice for 1992.
