This is a U2torrents exclusive only, I won´t upload this one anywhere else. It is a humble way to say "thank you" for all the beautiful IEMs that are present in this tracker. Most of them sound delightful to me! I am not into receivers technology, so all I can do is to go through my dusty cassettes collection and select something nice for you. This was my very first exposure to live U2 in my hometown of Milano. The gig was hot, very hot. It was also the very first U2 show in Italy and if you consider that some other countries had their first shows as back as 1980 (France, Netherlands, Germany...) I have to say that we were definetely LATE! What I remember was queing outside Buscemi (a well known record store in town) to get a ticket, and so many without a ticket outside the venue desperately looking for one at any price. I did not record this show myself (one of the big regrets of my life!) but managed to have a copy of the show from a friend who got it from the taper. I don´t think this is uncirculated but definetely not the same I have heard in other sources.
Soundwise this is ok, quite clear sound. The venue was shitty and it sounded awful sometimes. Teatro Tenda was just a big tent (as the one they use for circuses) in the Lampugnano area of Milano. Luckily they shut it down in 1987 when the Palatrussardi was built in the same area (although results were similar soundwise...).
Enjoy!
