Here is Snow Patrol performing at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City, MO.
During the song "Take Back the City", Gary Lightbody grabbed an iPhone from a member of the audience and filmed himself for a few seconds. I'll post a link of the YouTube video in the comments section.
Gary was having problems with his vocals. He had to stop singing during the song "Fallen Empires", but the band played on strong including the backing/rhythm vocals. All of the other songs turned out perfect. Gary felt bad about his vocal cords problem, but soldiered on to close the set.
The song "Life-ning" has become a new favorite of mine. Gary laid it all out there on the line when he sang this song. It really made me pay attention to the song lyrics. I now understand and respect the band's motto: "Mums and Dads of the world, be patient with your children."
Great singing from the audience throughout the entire concert!
