U2 - Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh UK 1987-08-01

There is a bit of a story with this one - my first ever stadium gig. Went through in the car with good old bobbyfaethebarras - no tickets so had to buy them from a tout and paid £20 for a £14 ticket.
Missed Runrig but heard them from outside and then Love & Money. Recorded the Mission, the Pogues and U2. This recording has been around a lot but a few people have asked me to upload it here.

I have never really liked the recording but this is direct from the original TDK ADX 90 tapes we used on the day. I have left the sound levels pretty much as they were on the original but I have tried to take away the outside feel. Apart from the first 3 songs where we got bounced about and had to move, I reckon this is pretty clear and sounds nice through the headphones. Will post a couple of samples.
