Comments
Finally we have a good improvement for the other recording from this show that was out there. George Bush Rap begins at a very low volume, but after 32 seconds, recording gets in its correct level position. Blemishes in this source: sound is a bit distant (I believe that a better recording location in the stadium would have derivated in a cooler recording), and audience noise can be invasive a couple of times, so you can hear people crying loud, or a few conversations near the taper. Slight marks can be heard between a few songs, but usually transitions are seamless. At 0:27 in Mysterious Ways you can hear the typical sound of a damaged tape. There's an edit between New Year's Day and Whiskey In the Jar, but no music is lost here. Running to Stand Still contains a skip at 0:03 that cuts out some seconds of Edge's riff intro. I detected that a couple of pops occur during the recording, mostly on Running to Stand Still and Pride. Another edit can be heard at the beginning of Love Is Blindness. At 0:52 in Love Is Blindness, recording gets clearer, higher, making a good improvement in the sound quality (I can’t imagine what would happen if this increase in quality had occured from the very beginning of the concert...). Can't Help Falling In Love includes the outtro over the PA.
