Sound quality:
very good, a few cuts due to tape flips. but since the show was over 2 1/2 hours long it’s no wonder.
I remember it because it was always a question when to flip tapes …

Notes:
Final night of the „Engelberg-Tour“ and a night full of highlights and special guests.

The main setlist is based on the Engelberg Album but a lot of old songs were played too and many cover versions.
Also S. Eicher did invite Polo Hofer, one of the most important singers in swiss rock/pop history for his songs in swiss dialect. Especially „d’Rosemarie und i“ is in my opinion one of the most beautiful swiss pop songs which written bei H. Ammann who is also responsible for the piano intro.

Patent Ochser (another swiss pop/rock band singing in swiss/bernese dialect) who were then at the beginning of their career ins Switzerland were invited by S. Eicher. Eicher was party responsible for their success because he played „scharlachrot“ during the Engelberg tour as a cover, making Patent Ochsner more known in Switzerland.

Probably one of Stephan Eichers best concerts and also on top of one of his peaks in his career.
